Job summary

Clean Tec Outsourcing is hiring a Lead Technician in Orlando to diagnose and repair commercial cleaning equipment. You will own engine, pump, and drive-system work, order parts, and verify each work order before invoicing.

Requirements include 3+ years fixing floor scrubbers, pressure washers, carpet extractors, tuggers, and carts, plus knowledge of gas engines, battery-electric systems, wiring diagrams, and multimeter use. A valid Florida license and ability to lift 50 lb are needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years repairing commercial cleaning equipment and small engines.
• Experience with floor scrubbers, pressure washers, carpet extractors, tuggers, and carts.
• Knowledge of small gas engines (Honda/Toro), 12-48V battery-electric systems, wiring diagrams, multimeter use, and pumps/hoses/pressure fittings.
• Nice to have: factory training from brands or small-engine certification; hotel/large facility experience.

Job description

Lead Technician: $27.00/hr

• Role: diagnoses and repairs all equipment, owns engine, pump, and drive-system work, orders parts, and signs off each work order before it is invoiced
• Experience: 3+ years repairing commercial cleaning equipment, small engines or utility vehicles. That means floor scrubbers, pressure washers, carpet extractors, tuggers, and carts.
• Must know: small gas engines (Honda, Toro), 12-48V battery-electric systems and wiring diagrams, multimeter use, and pumps, hoses, and pressure fittings. Able to read service manuals and parts diagrams.
• Nice to have: factory training from Karcher, Tennant, Nilfisk/Advance or IPC Eagle, a small-engine certification, and experience in hotels or large facilities.

Also:

• Comfortable logging time, parts, and photos in a phone or tablet app, and able to guide and check the helper's work.
• Valid Florida driver's license and a clean driving record
• Pass a background check
• Able to lift 50 lb and to work standing, kneeling and outdoors
• Professional conduct in guest areas of the resorts
