Job summary

RestoPros of Central Georgia is seeking a lead water mitigation technician to perform comprehensive mitigation on residential and commercial properties and to provide outstanding customer service.

You will visit sites, scope damages, document for estimators, and develop moisture mapping while handling heavy materials and equipment. Applicants should be able to work overtime and pass background/driving checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in water mitigation/remediation preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Valid driver’s license and fluent English.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel to sites.
• Willing to undergo background and driving record checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform water mitigation on residential and commercial properties.
• Visit assignments and interface with customers; document for estimator.
• Develop moisture mapping and create drying logs.
• Provide on-call/emergency response when required.
• Move debris and equipment safely on job sites.

Job Description

• A lead technician is mainly responsible for performing the water mitigation for residential and commercial properties while providing excellent customer service. This is a labor-intensive construction related position that has a rotating “on call / emergency response” requirement.
• Visit new assignments/jobs, interface with the customer.
• Scope the damages, perform mitigation services, provide documentation to the estimator for approval.
• Develop moisture mapping and create drying-log.
• Be capable of carrying heavy loads of debris, damaged materials, and equipment from the property.

Qualifications

• Have excellent customer service skills.
• Be ready, willing, and able to work and be available for overtime when needed.
• Be able to work unsupervised.
• Have a great attitude, be trustworthy, be dependable, and have a pleasant personality.
• Proficient in working with technology.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and driving record check.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be fluent in English.

Experience

• Water Mitigation, 2+ years required
• Remediation, 2+ years (Preferred)
• Construction, 1+ year (Preferred)
• Xactimate Software proficiency a plus
• IICRC certification a plus
