We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Technician to join our team! In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trailers, tractors (on and off-road), and heavy equipment (Yellow Iron). We want to hear from you if you’re passionate about diagnostics, repairs, and keeping things running smoothly!
Diagnose and repair brake systems, including ABS and wheel-end components.
Troubleshoot and fix electrical, lighting, and suspension systems.
Perform engine, transmission, driveline, differential, hydraulic, PTO, A/C, and after-treatment system repairs.
Use OEM diagnostic software for fault codes and electronic issues.
Conduct preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) per Stella standards.
Complete documentation and planning using Stella Maintenance software.
Source parts, schedule jobs, and coordinate purchase orders with Fleet Specialists.
Handle welding and fabrication when needed.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and all local/state/federal regulations.
Perform routine trailer maintenance: oil changes, tire rotation, brake checks, etc.
3–5 years of technician experience (required)
Strong mechanical knowledge, especially with trailers, brakes, and electrical systems
Diagnostic skills and a proactive problem-solver mindset
Welding/fabrication experience
Certified Brake Inspector, Annual Inspector, and A/C Technician (preferred)
Valid driver’s license
Physically able to lift 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions
