Job summary

Applied Systems is seeking a Lead Technical Consultant to join the Applied Solutions team in Chicago. You will set architecture, integration, and cloud delivery standards while guiding clients through complex digital transformations.

You will advise CIOs/CTOs, lead large enterprise engagements, and partner with sales on high-value deals. Strong cross-functional leadership and cloud API experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of business/technical solutions implementation including cloud design
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (8+ years or 6+ with associate)
• 3+ years of client/project management experience
• Hands-on with scalable, resilient application architecture and DevOps (2+ years)
• Experience with cloud platforms and/or APIs (2+ years)
• Ability to lead executive workshops and design to-be processes and diagrams

Responsibilities

• Advise CIOs/CTOs and align technical roadmap with transformations
• Lead executive-level engagements and resolve complex escalations
• Establish and evolve architecture, integration, and cloud delivery standards
• Lead cross-functional programs and translate field lessons into blueprints
• Partner with Sales on pursuit strategies and value engineering
• Shape technical strategy with hyperscalers and mentor seniors
