Forthright Staffing is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect / Lead Developer for a 3–6 month contract, responsible for guiding the organization through a successful launch of Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight to ensure the platform's long-term success.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of Salesforce development experience, particularly in Sales Cloud and CPQ, and must demonstrate leadership abilities as well as a commitment to mentorship. You will work closely with various project stakeholders and contribute to ongoing improvements, including CI/CD strategies and AI-driven solutions.

Salesforce Technical Architect / Lead Developer (3–6 month contract)

In this role, you will serve as the primary technical subject matter expert for Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud, helping guide the organization through a successful platform launch and transition of ownership from our current Salesforce implementation partner.

This is a hands‑on technical leadership position that will play a critical role in ensuring the long‑term success and sustainability of the Salesforce platform. You will work closely with the core project team, including the Technical Lead, Senior Salesforce Business Analyst, Business Process Architect, Enterprise Architect, and other key technical resources, as well as our Salesforce implementation partner.

The transition of ownership will include knowledge transfer, technical documentation review, platform governance, architecture oversight, best practice recommendations, and ensuring internal teams are equipped to successfully manage and support the Salesforce environment moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Understand what has been built.
• Complete any remaining work needed to go live.
• Successfully go live with the new Salesforce platform.
• Take over ongoing maintenance and support of what has been built.
• Contribute to future build work.
• Inform and implement strategies for CI/CD, test automation, and AI‑driven solutions.
• Transition from the partner’s tools by acquiring and configuring tools to enable those strategies.
• Finalize long‑term/ongoing resource requirements (both skillset and capacity).
• Mentor and upskill team members on the new Salesforce platform.

Skills and Experience

• Experience leading a team and heavily contributing to the ongoing development of Salesforce.
• 5+ years of development in both Sales Cloud and Salesforce CPQ.
• Experience developing and implementing strategies for CI/CD, test automation, and AI.

Preferred Experience

• Mulesoft.
• Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement).
• Experience working with Salesforce integrations into financial systems.

Additional Skills

Expert level skills in Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud development and administration.

Expert‑level understanding of the SFDC ecosystem, capabilities, architecture, products, and best practices.
