Job summary
Lightspeed Restoration is seeking a Water Damage Mitigation Team Lead to oversee a crew for residential and commercial projects, including on-call emergency response. You will manage production, lead safety and quality, document work, and coordinate the team to meet scope and deadlines while providing mentorship and growth opportunities within the company.
The role requires 2–5 years of restoration experience with 1–2 years of leadership, and a current WRT certification.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of restoration experience, water damage preferred.
- 1–2 years of leadership experience.
- Current WRT certification required for full-time/team lead status.
- Other industry certifications (IICRC, OSHA 30, MICRO CMI/CMRC) are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Respond 24/7 to emergency water damage mitigation as part of a rotating on-call roster.
- Manage production and perform hands-on work as required per scope of work.
- Provide strong leadership to ensure safe, timely, and profitable delivery.
- Document projects thoroughly (photos, contracts) and welcome feedback for improvement.
- Work safely in a team environment and enforce on-site safety measures.
- Coordinate a team to meet production goals.
