Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is seeking a Lead Warehouse Technician to oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. You will verify orders, manage inventory, and ensure safety and packaging guidelines are followed, while operating warehouse equipment to support the team.

This role requires heavy travel and hands-on responsibilities, including audits, stock management, and order preparation for shipment. A strong background in warehousing and driving responsibilities is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Valid State driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• Experience operating forklift and pallet jack.
• Five years of warehouse or material handling experience.
• Knowledge of computer and inventory control systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and prepare periodic audits as needed.
• Resolve shortages and manage packaging material restocking needs.
• Prepare and verify orders for shipment according to pick tickets and customer requirements.
• Check and verify inventory to ensure availability of needed stock; package and ship products according to guidelines.
• Stock shelves and put away new materials.
• Organize pick tickets and cross-check with packing slips and work orders.
• Receive, unload, and inspect shipments; confirm accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders.
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and forklift for loading and unloading materials.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, climb stairs, use keyboard and mouse
• Occasionally: work in confined spaces or remote locations with arms above shoulder level, lift greater than 55 pounds, squeeze, fine hand motion, and use portable ladder
