Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking a Lead Tech – Multi-Modality in the DI department to oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, budget reconciliation, and equipment management. The Lead will supervise staff, coordinate training, and ensure adherence to ARDMS/ARRT practices and safety standards while collaborating with other departments to optimize patient care.

The role requires ARRT or ARDMS and BLS credentials, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to high-quality patient care

Position:Lead Tech - Multi-Modality

POSITION SUMMARY: The Lead Tech – Multi-Modality is responsible for the day-to-day operations and efficiency of
the DI department. The Lead Tech – Multi-Modality is responsible for staffing, budget reconciliation, equipment service
and acquisition, training of personnel and adhering to quality practices according to department needs. The Lead must have
knowledge of all areas and systems within the DI Department. Must collaborate with other departments and health team
members throughout the organization with the patient’s best interest and safety in mind. The Lead Tech - Multi-Modality
performs examinations according to the currently accepted practices of the ARDMS and/or ARRT and Northwest Texas
Healthcare System as well as prepare technical reports, exam rooms, equipment and supplies for procedures.osition: Title

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs patient care, assists radiologist and other physicians.


• Demonstrates Multi-Modality skills and demonstrates good patient care.


• Utilizes leadership skills in supervising staff and students, providing feedback concerning performance.


• Demonstrates Professionalism with good communication and problem solving skills.
