Position Overview

Monitors and inspects tasks for restoration jobs to ensure the completion of drying, demolition, and various restoration activities. Prepares and reviews documentation, including notes, photos, and reports, according to company policies and procedures. Explains processes used to complete active jobs and next steps to resolution in person to customers. Supervises technicians assigned to the job, ensuring safety and operational standards are followed and met during active jobs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Understand disaster restoration industry standards and procedures.
  • Retrieve work orders, ensure the appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded onto the truck, and arrive at the work site on time.
  • Complete assigned jobs following company processes and carrier standards, maintain quality control, and manage technicians.
  • Monitor all active jobs daily, with a sense of urgency, for residential and commercial customers.
  • Explain processes and next steps to customers in person, using printed materials as guides.
  • Complete sketches and scope sheets for estimates, and record drying activities using mobile software.
  • Inspect jobs after completion, obtain customer signatures, and request payments when necessary.
  • Address customer issues, communicate daily job activities with key staff, and resolve problems.
  • Prepare and review documentation, including notes, photos, and signatures, to ensure proper reimbursement from insurance companies.
  • Train new technicians or team members as needed.
  • Ensure safety standards are maintained during all active jobs.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Prioritize activities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Arrive to work on time, in a complete uniform.
  • Follow product label instructions carefully.
Job Requirements
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of disaster restoration or construction industry.
  • Proficiency with mobile software for data entry.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in training and managing teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate customer issues and job activities with staff.
  • Certifications preferred but not required: ASD, FSRT, OCT, WRT.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds frequently.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods; perform lifting, squatting, crawling, and crouching.
  • Communicate ideas and receive detailed information effectively.
  • Use respirators in certain situations, ensuring proper fit.
  • Work in various indoor and outdoor environments, with or without climate control.
