Job summary

Grand Avenue Preschool in Burr Ridge, IL is seeking a Lead Teacher for our Young Preschool (2-year-old) classroom. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with compensation $20–$23 per hour based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• CDA or at least 6 ECE college credits.
• Ability to pass all background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead all classroom activities in line with the center's philosophy and goals.
• Implement activities supporting growth in emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical areas.
• Take feedback constructively and improve the program accordingly.
• Maintain a clean, safe learning environment for all children.
• Build professional relationships with families to ensure quality care.
• Meet physical requirements and assist around small children as needed.
• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs as part of the role.
