LifeWise Academy is seeking a lead teacher who will support the program director in hiring, training, and managing LifeWise teachers while maintaining curriculum standards.

The role requires a minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience, active church involvement, and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise teachings. The position is part-time and hourly, based in Ohio, with responsibilities across curriculum planning and teacher development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Plan Curriculum: determine which LifeWise lessons will be taught during each school year and align with LifeWise mission.
• Train and Observe Teachers: organize training, lead meetings, observe teachers and participate in training opportunities.
• Create and Maintain Records: keep class rosters, health notes, and policy documentation; coordinate changes.
• Communicate: visit classes, support volunteers, provide updates to the program director.
• Other Duties: assist the program director in other responsibilities as needed.
