Sylvan Learning Center is seeking a Lead Teacher to ensure delivery of Sylvan programs by teachers and address ongoing education needs of families. The role includes coaching staff, monitoring student progress, and regular collaboration with the Center Director to ensure high-quality customer experiences.
The position supports 10–12 hours per week with potential growth as the center expands, with responsibilities spanning instruction, staff development, and parent conferences.
Job Description
The Lead Teacher is responsible for ensuring Sylvan education programs are delivered by teachers as designed and that the ongoing education needs of Sylvan families are met. The lead teacher monitors student performance and connects with school teachers to help ensure the application of skills learned in the classroom. The lead teacher also observes and coaches the teaching staff, ensuring robust instructional experiences. The lead teacher also communicates with the Center Director regularly to ensure quality and consistency of the customer experience.
We are looking for about 10-12 hours per week with a possibility for increasing more as we grow.
