Job summary

The Learning Experience in New York is seeking a Lead Teacher to establish the academic foundation for young minds while nurturing curiosity and confidence. You will guide classroom activities, partner with families, and model joyful, developmentally appropriate learning.

As an Educational Leader, you’ll mentor peers, implement the LEAP Curriculum, and ensure a safe, engaging environment that supports infants to preschoolers across our centers. Compensation ranges from 19 to 22 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• High School Diploma or GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
• Extended experience in a childcare setting with a history of classroom leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and collaborate to orchestrate a stimulating, welcoming space where children can play, learn, and grow.
• Masterfully implement our proprietary LEAP Curriculum®, adapting to infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children.
• Prioritize safety and provide a nurturing environment where children thrive.
• Regularly update families on progress and milestones via apps and in-person discussions.
• Collaborate with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
• Build warm relationships with families and colleagues to balance learning and play.
