Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a Lead Teacher to create a warm, engaging classroom where children learn through play and exploration. You will guide activities, implement our LEAP Curriculum®, and support infants to preschoolers with a nurturing, educational approach.

You will partner with families and staff to ensure developmentally appropriate practices, safety, and a joyful learning environment that encourages curiosity and confidence in young minds.

Qualifications

• Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; ECE coursework preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in childcare with leadership responsibilities.
• Immunizations, health and safety training compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and collaborate to create a stimulating, welcoming space for children to learn and grow.
• Implement the LEAP Curriculum® to support infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers.
• Prioritize safety and nurture in daily activities.
• Communicate with families about progress and milestones using apps and in-person meetings.
• Collaborate with center staff and leadership to support retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
• Build warm relationships with families and colleagues to foster learning through play.
