Child Development Schools is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. You will partner with families and colleagues to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging early childhood environment.

You will plan hands-on activities, document child progress, and communicate development regularly, while maintaining licensing ratios and classroom safety. A commitment to high-quality early education is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Background check required.
• Completion of 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days of hire.
• Strong communication and ability to build relationships with families.
• Ability to meet licensing and ratio requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Keep the classroom safe, organized, and compliant with licensing and ratio requirements
• Observe and document each child's development and share progress with families regularly
• Build relationships with parents through daily communication and scheduled conferences
• Complete required documentation including attendance, incident reports, and assessments
