Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring a Lead Teacher in Indianapolis to create engaging learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers. You will manage classroom curriculum, ensure licensing and center standards, and promote growth in preschool children.

We seek energetic, dependable individuals with classroom leadership experience who can work indoors or outdoors, and who meet state education requirements. Benefits include flexible schedules, and a focus on child development.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for preschool children: promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement and center success.
