Job summary

Terri's Treehouse in Wisconsin is seeking a Lead Teacher to develop a cohesive teaching team, coordinate the nature-based curriculum, and manage daily classroom operations. The role emphasizes outdoor learning, garden stewardship, and strong collaboration with families to create a safe, engaging learning environment.

You will guide children through developmentally appropriate activities, maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, and support staff through coaching and professional growth

Qualifications

• 4 ECE credits or equivalent per WI standards.
• Childcare experience.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must clear full background check and health screening.
• Ability to foster a team environment and lead curriculum planning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum with outdoor enrichments.
• Lead and coach teaching team for student success.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to promote growth.
• Communicate with parents about daily learning and progress.
• Ensure center policies and state regulations are met.
• Maintain hygiene, safety and a healthy classroom.
• Oversee garden and classroom volunteers.
• Maintain accurate records and files.
• Pursue ongoing professional development.
