Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms, coach peers, and deliver our curriculum with warmth and high standards. You’ll create a safe, nurturing environment, connect with families, and collaborate with staff to meet enrollment and accreditation goals.

You will model best practices in early childhood education, lead by example, and ensure engaging, developmentally appropriate experiences for children indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multitask in a busy classroom.
• Active CDA Credential or NAEYC candidacy required or in progress.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and engage with children indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum according to each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support child education and care.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities and community partners.
