Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to inspire and support young learners in a caring classroom. You will lead, coach, and mentor staff while delivering KinderCare's curriculum to meet each child's needs.

This role emphasizes collaboration with families, engagement with licensing authorities, and achieving enrollment and accreditation goals. A CDA credential or NAECY candidacy, along with ECE experience and a degree, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAECY candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
