Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher for CAS Elementary School, focusing on delivering a high-quality early education program on school grounds. You will lead a classroom, mentor peers, and collaborate with families to support each child's growth.

You will implement our curriculum with attention to individual needs, ensure a safe, stimulating environment, and work closely with center staff to drive enrollment and engagement while building strong community partnerships.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills required.
• Active CDA credential or meeting NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state qualifications for the role; willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
