Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a Lead Teacher to create a safe, nurturing and engaging classroom for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. You will manage the day-to-day classroom operations with a growth mindset and model best practices.

Lead teachers mentor colleagues, implement the LEAP Curriculum, and regularly communicate with parents about children's learning adventures. Join our caring team and help children Learn, Play and Grow.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of professional teaching experience required
• Associate degree or higher in ECE or related field or CDA required
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P Curriculum®, in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements.
• Support center enrollment and engagement goals with center staff and leadership.
• Ensure the safety and security of each child.
