Job summary

KinderCare Education LLC is hiring a Lead Teacher in Bloomington, IN. You will lead and mentor teachers, implement the center’s curriculum, and create a safe, engaging classroom where children can learn and thrive.

You will partner with families and center leadership to meet enrollment goals and maintain high standards of care. CPR/First Aid and CDA credential support are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Active CDA Credential or meet NAECB candidacy requirements.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in alignment with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
