Job summary

KinderCare Education LLC is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor fellow teachers, implement our curricula, and create a safe, engaging classroom where children can grow. You will collaborate with parents to support each child’s development and help drive center enrollment and accreditation goals.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Able to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years of early childhood education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds; work indoors or outdoors.
• Able to communicate with children and parents in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
