Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Lead Teacher in Illinois. You will lead and mentor teachers, implement our curriculum to fit each child, and create a safe, nurturing space for play and learning.

You’ll partner with parents to support their children’s education and help achieve center goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. Join a community that values relationships with families, staff, licensing authorities, and partners, and where your work helps children grow into

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organization are required.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Active CDA Credential or nearing NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom.
• Implement curriculum consistent with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to support children’s education.
• Support center success, enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Build positive relationships with families, staff, licensing authorities and partners.
