KinderCare Learning Companies in Naperville, IL is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor fellow teachers while delivering KinderCare's curriculum and supporting children's growth. The role emphasizes partnership with families to ensure high-quality care and education in a safe, engaging classroom environment.

The position requires 2–3 years of early childhood experience and a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, with preference for CDA credentials and state trainer eligibility.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills required.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• State trainer certification is preferred.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficient for parent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support children's education and well-being.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community and partners.
