Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Illinois is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms with passion and professionalism. You will coach fellow teachers, implement the center's curriculum, create a safe, nurturing environment, and build strong connections with families.

You will collaborate with staff and leadership to meet enrollment goals and achieve accreditation. The role requires CDA or equivalent, 2–3 years of early childhood experience, and a commitment to safety, growth, and inclusive

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to stay organized while handling multiple tasks.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; state qualifications as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum consistent with each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can learn and grow.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
