KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher in Illinois. You will lead and mentor teachers, implement the KinderCare curriculum to meet each child’s needs, and create a safe, engaging environment for learning.

You will collaborate with families and center staff to support enrollment, accreditation, and community engagement while promoting high-quality child care and education. A CDA or eligible status, plus state requirements, are important.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or eligibility for NAEYC candidacy.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read, write, and speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that fits each child's needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership to reach enrollment, accreditation and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and partners.
