Job summary

Learning Care Group in New York is seeking a Lead Teacher to create engaging learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers. You will manage classroom activities, promote children’s growth, and ensure adherence to licensing guidelines and company standards.

You will build relationships with families, support center success, and contribute to a positive, cooperative workplace. This role offers a Monday-Friday schedule and full-time opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care for the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Call the shots on classroom management, curriculum implementation, licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement and center success.
