KinderCare Learning Companies in Illinois is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide teammates, deliver KinderCare’s curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing classroom environment.

You will partner with parents to support each child’s education and work with center staff to achieve enrollment and engagement goals. CDA credential or candidacy, 2–3 years ECE experience, and a bachelor’s in ECE are preferred.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational ability.
• Have or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements for CDA credential.
• Approved state trainer (preferred).
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• Read/write/speak English to communicate with children and parents.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and mentor teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement the curriculum in line with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support children’s education outcomes.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
