Job summary

Clayton Early Learning is seeking a Lead Teacher for Infant & Toddler care to design developmentally appropriate activities for a class of 8 children, including some 0–3 year olds. You will supervise teachers and coordinate with families and the classroom team.

The role requires a BA in ECE (or related field) with 36 ECE hours or a Colorado teaching license, and 2–3 years of relevant experience, with background checks required. Compensation reflects responsibilities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working with kids and families.
• BA in ECE or related field with 36 ECE credit hours OR CO teaching license.
• Pass background checks including FBI/CBI fingerprinting and safety screenings.

Responsibilities

• Develop written plans for daily activities based on children’s needs and interests for a class of 8 children.
• Organize materials to provide a safe, age-appropriate environment.
• Conduct annual inventory of materials and equipment.
• Schedule and facilitate team and classroom meetings.
• Provide supervision to classroom teachers.
• Participate in meetings and internal/external reporting.
