The role provides leadership to staff, ensures safety and regulatory compliance, and supports families in partnership with the program. Qualifications

• WI State Registry Level 12 or higher.
• 0-2 years paid classroom experience; 1 year with families preferred.
• Lead Teacher requires two years of paid experience with families or in a classroom.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans meeting state requirements.
• Create a safe, clean, engaging classroom environment.
• Supervise children with dignity and respect, fostering development.
• Monitor staff-to-child ratios and notify supervisor of changes.
• Ensure routines comply with organizational standards and regulations.
• Build positive communication with families and staff.
