Job summary

The Goddard School in Indiana seeks a dedicated lead teacher to coordinate daily class operations, plan and evaluate educational activities, and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for young children.

You will work closely with children and their families to deliver a high-quality educational experience, communicate progress, and support professional development opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Associate or BA in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
• 1–2 years of previous experience preferred.
• Has completed state-required pre-service training.
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty.
• Able to calmly address stressful situations while multi-tasking for smooth school operations.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. for child handling; infants may require lifting into/out of cribs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of assigned classes and plan, present, and evaluate activities.
• Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
