Qualifications

  • CDA Certification within 2 years OR must obtain an Associate's Degree if not obtained in 2 years.
  • Some previous childcare experience required.
  • This position may require First Aid or CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Turn in Monthly Lesson Plans.
  • Comply with State, Local and Federal regulations.
  • Complete State required 15 ECE training hours.
  • Exhibit good customer relations.
  • Comply with BHL and CDC Standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional and positive relationship with parents and co-workers.
  • Respectful and courteous to all parents, children, and co-workers.
  • Ensure the safety of all children in the classroom and never leave children unattended.
  • Provide developmentally appropriate daily activities.
  • Maintain a neat and organized classroom.
  • Maintain and respect confidentially of children and families in our program.
  • Record attendance, medicine administration, and accident/incident reports as needed.
