Job summary

KIPP Atlanta Schools seeks Lead Teachers across multiple subjects to deliver a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum and provide differentiated instruction that challenges all scholars. • Experience designing rigorous, standards-aligned curricula.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Use data to inform lesson planning and growth targets.
• Collaborate with Special Education Teachers on IEPs and student needs.
• Establish strong communication with families and the broader community.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Development & Instruction: Adapt and execute a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum; develop differentiated lessons and assessments; use varied instructional strategies; provide data-driven feedback and individualized learning plans; differentiate instruction to mastery.
• Foster a Positive School & Classroom Culture: Uphold values and culture; build relationships with scholars, families, and staff; maintain clear family communications; participate in school events and create an engaging classroom environment.
• Demonstrate a Growth Mindset: Set professional goals; give/receive feedback; pursue PD; show commitment to scholar learning and growth.
