Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Georgia teaching certification preferred.
• Two years teaching experience in an underserved community preferred.
• Proven track record of a joyful and academically excellent classroom, or willingness to learn.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative team player with integrity in decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and execute a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum.
• Develop differentiated lessons and assessments.
• Use data-driven instruction to inform lesson planning and provide targeted support.
• Provide daily feedback on scholar performance and create individualized learning plans.
• Differentiate instruction to ensure progress toward mastery.
• Collaborate with Special Education Teachers to meet IEPs and student needs.
• Develop positive relationships with scholars, families, teachers, staff, and the community.
• Maintain strong communication with families and participate in school events.
• Set and pursue professional goals and engage in PD opportunities.
