The Ideal Candidate Has the Following Qualifications:
  • CDA or College / University with 6 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience: Early childhood education: 1 year (Required)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
  • Strong written and communication skills.
Job Requirements:
  • Following weekly plans based on Creative Curriculum Guidelines and monthly themes.
  • Meeting the individual needs of the children by interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
  • Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
  • Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom.
  • Creating a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning.
  • Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
  • Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
  • Building teamwork.
  • Using assessment tools and observations to track individual child development.
  • Committing to continuing education.
Work Location: In person
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No weekends
