Job summary

Learning Care in New York is seeking a Lead Teacher to create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers and enforcing licensing guidelines and company standards.

You will build strong relationships with families, lead classroom management, and implement curriculums across your preschool class. This full-time role offers a Monday-Friday schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Minimum age 18.

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and be an expert on all licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and support your center’s success.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay $21.81 - $22.65 hourly, bi-weekly and daily pay options; based on position, education, and experience.
