Job summary

The Learning Experience in Edmond, Oklahoma is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our team. As an Educational Leader, you will set the academic foundation for young children and create a welcoming, safe environment where exploration and joy thrive.

You will guide infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers with our proprietary LEAP Curriculum and mentor other educators. You will communicate regularly with families, participate in center-wide planning, and collaborate with staff to drive enrollment and

Qualifications

State-specific guidelines must be met; High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in childcare with leadership roles and a passion for early childhood education.
Must meet state and federal health and safety requirements including immunizations.

Responsibilities

Classroom Leadership: Plan, prepare, and collaborate to create a stimulating, welcoming space for children.
Curriculum Implementation: Implement our LEAP Curriculum®, adapting to infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers.
Safety First: Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for all children.
Family Communication: Provide regular updates to parents on progress and milestones.
Center Collaboration: Work with staff and leadership to support retention, enrollment and engagement.
Relationship Builder: Build warm relationships with families and colleagues to support learning through play.
