Worcester Community Action Council, Inc. (WCAC) is seeking a Lead Teacher to support its Early Head Start and Head Start programs in Southern Worcester County.

The Lead Teacher will plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, supervise, train, mentor and evaluate classroom staff, and help children develop the skills they need for kindergarten readiness. This is a full-time, school-year position with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, based at program sites in East

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required or enrolled and working toward a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; able to learn WCAC software/databases.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Positive, friendly, and resourceful demeanor.
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Embraces teamwork with staff and caregivers and promotes DEI initiatives.
• Must work cooperatively with a diverse population.
• Spanish or another language skills are a plus.
