Qualifications

• High school diploma required; higher credentials preferred
• CDA credential preferred
• 1–2 years experience with young children in licensed setting
• State-required pre-service training completed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using Wonder of Learning curriculum.
• Create a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain open communication with families about child’s progress and daily activities.
• Supervise children to uphold health and safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Observe and document children’s learning to inform activities.
• Support Assistant and Resource Teachers in a collaborative environment.
• Model positive guidance to support social-emotional growth.
