Children of America is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our team in Montgomery County, MD. You will implement daily lesson plans, create a safe, structured learning environment, and communicate professionally with parents and staff using COA's Mind and Body Matters curriculum.

Your role focuses on fostering growth, empathy, and engagement with children aged 6 weeks to 12 years, collaborating with a dedicated team while meeting state licensing requirements and maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must meet all state licensing requirements.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Flexible and adaptable in challenging situations.
