Children of America, Inc. is seeking a Lead Teacher to join a nationwide preschool network with 65+ locations.

You will work with a dedicated team to deliver engaging early childhood education to children from 6 weeks to 12 years, following COA's Mind and Body Matters curriculum. The role emphasizes creating a safe, structured learning environment, communicating with families, documenting progress, and growing professionally through internal advancement and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 12+ credits in Early Childhood Education with a Level 2 Lead Teacher Certification in Preschool or Infant/Toddler or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education.
• 1+ year of experience in a licensed childcare setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must meet state licensing requirements.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Flexible and adaptable in challenging situations.
• Commitment to professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily lesson plans.
• Assist in creating a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
• Communicate professionally with parents, children, and team members.
• Utilize technology to document and deliver child progress reports.
