Job summary

Children of America is seeking a Lead Teacher to join our caring team. You will guide daily lesson plans and lead classroom instruction using COA's Mind and Body Matters curriculum, creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment for children 6 weeks to 12 years old.

You will communicate professionally with parents and staff, document progress with technology, and support families with empathy while modeling best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• CDA or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum 2 years of licensed childcare experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must meet state licensing requirements.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Flexible and adaptable in challenging situations.
• Commitment to professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily lesson plans.
