Job summary

AMIkids is seeking a Lead Teacher to ensure educational quality by coordinating assessment programs and teaching middle and senior high school classes. The candidate will work with program managers and assist instructors to enhance teaching skills.

This position is critical for helping underserved youth achieve their educational goals through personalized plans and curriculum development. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and state certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• State Teacher Certification in core subject areas.
• Two years of experience working with youth.

Responsibilities

• Work with program managers to ensure educational quality and compliance.
• Complete educational assessments for each youth.
• Develop educational goals for each youth.
• Monitor youth educational progress throughout enrollment.
• Ensure all curriculum areas are in place.
• Review lesson plans for compliance with local requirements.
• Assist instructors in lesson planning.
• Instruct youth in assigned classes.
