Job summary

Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) is seeking a childcare team member to support holistic learning and emotional growth for children, including those with diverse needs.

You will design age-appropriate activities, build trusting relationships, and collaborate with a playful, supportive team. Flexible hours and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to obtain a CDA credential.
• Preferred: an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or currently enrolled.
• Infant/Toddler coursework or willingness to complete for Early Head Start.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Required: High school diploma or GED, prior childcare experience, and the ability to obtain a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
• Preferred: An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education (or currently enrolled).
• Early Head Start (ages 6 weeks–36 months): CDA with Infant/Toddler coursework—or willingness to complete.
