Job summary

Children & Families of Iowa seeks dedicated staff to inspire and engage children through creative, hands-on activities in a supportive, therapeutic environment.

You will help children grow socially, emotionally, and academically while ensuring safety and nurturing care. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities to pursue further education with company backing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; hands-on childcare experience.
• If you don’t have a CDA, we’ll support you in earning one.
• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education is a big plus and can aid advancement.
• For CDA with Infant/Toddler coursework in our program, you can complete it with our guidance.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring and What You’ll Gain

• You’ll need a high school diploma or GED and some childcare experience, because your hands‑on skills make a real difference in a child’s day.
• If you don’t already have a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, don’t worry, we’ll support you in earning one as you grow with us.
• Have or are working toward an Associate’s Degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education? That’s a big plus and can open doors for advancement.
• For our Early Head Start program (ages 6 weeks to 36 months), a CDA with Infant/Toddler coursework is required, or you can commit to completing it with our guidance and resources.
