Job summary

The Goddard School in Baltimore is seeking passionate teachers to deliver engaging early childhood education in a safe, nurturing environment.

As a lead teacher you will plan, present, and evaluate activities, work closely with families, and ensure a high standard of care and education for every child.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Preschool Certification (MSDE) / 45-hour Infant/Toddler Certification required
• CDA preferred
• 1-2 years of previous experience required
• Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty
• Ability to calmly address stressful situations while multi-tasking to ensure smooth operations
• Must lift up to 50 lbs in caring for children
• Meets background check eligibility

Responsibilities

• Lead teachers coordinate daily operations of assigned classes
• Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare
• Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service
