We are seeking passionate and experienced Lead Teachers to join our team at the new Werner Early Learning Childcare Center and inspire young minds to achieve their fullest potential.

The Lead Teacher will play a crucial role in creating a dynamic classroom environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. This position involves developing and implementing lesson plans, mentoring assistant teachers, and collaborating with families to support student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Assess and document student progress, providing regular feedback to students and families.
  • Mentor and support assistant teachers and classroom aides, promoting professional growth.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians.
  • Implement classroom management strategies that promote respect and positive behavior.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all students at all times.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or similar field.
  • At least 2500 hours of experience working with children.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, staff, and caregivers.
  • This is a Safety Sensitive Position.
  • Spanish fluency is preferred.
