Job summary

Learning Care is hiring a Lead Teacher to guide classrooms, design engaging lessons, and mentor fellow staff in a nurturing, child-focused environment.

You will foster development across social, physical, and cognitive domains while upholding licensing standards and center policies. Flexible schedules, with no nights or weekends, make it possible to balance work and family life.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Able to meet state childcare education requirements and center policies.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation in compliance with licensing guidelines.

As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:

• Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on all licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
