Brightside Academy in Pittsburgh is seeking a caring Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging classroom where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You will lead a high-quality, age-appropriate classroom, develop engaging lesson plans, and maintain a welcoming learning space.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or related field (or an Associate’s with 2 years’ experience). You’ll need strong classroom management and communication skills, read/write English, and a

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related human services field; or an Associate’s degree in one of these fields plus at least 2 years of experience working with children
• Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills
• A nurturing, dependable, energetic approach to working with children
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to read/write English and use basic Microsoft Office tools

The $1,000 sign-on bonus is paid in three installments at 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days. Candidates must start within 30 days of accepting the offer. Minimum education for bonus eligibility is an associate degree in ECE or Elementary Education with 18 ECE credits and the candidate must be hired into a Lead Teacher position in a program classroom.
